Mike Bradley
Mike was born in Falmouth and began his career in art and design by studying at Falmouth School of Art. Having moved away to continue his studies and become a lecturer in Art & Design, he returned to Falmouth in 1992 and joined the RCPS in 1993. Mike is currently responsible for the RCPS Local History & Research Group.

Carey Davies
Carey has over 30 years of experience working in engineering, design and research for award-winning audio mixer manufacturer Allen & Heath, and even helped to relocate the company to Cornwall in 1980. He installed the Poly’s sound system and is keen to promote excellence and innovation in technology in its new era.

Brian Dilks
Brian is a solicitor and partner in the Falmouth firm Hine Downing and has frequently offered legal advice to the RCPS since his election to the Board in 2005. Having also been a member of the Trustee Board of Carrick Citizens Advice Bureau, he has a general interest in science and the arts and has been a supporter of the Society for many years.

Helen Gilchrist
Having worked as a volunteer at the Poly since 2004, Helen has a passion to create a thriving arts, innovation and cultural social hub within the local community. She currently runs Stranger Collective, a creative communications and writing agency in Penryn that works with a wide range of local, national and international brands, organisations and events.

Jayne Howard
Falmouth resident Jayne is Chair of Volunteer Cornwall and, as such, knows the importance of volunteers in organisations such as the RCPS. She is director of Arts for Health Cornwall, which seeks to promote the role of creativity in improving health and wellbeing. Jayne is a regular visitor to the Poly and her partner and son have exhibited and performed there respectively.

Mike Jenks
As former head of architecture at Oxford Brookes University and founder director of the Oxford Institute for Sustainable Development, Mike was awarded the distinction of Professor Emeritus. He has lectured widely in the UK and abroad and was invited to deliver the RCPS Smales Lecture on The Sustainability City: Myth or Reality in 2009. His family connections with Cornwall go back many generations.

Bill Scott
Writer, filmmaker and artistic director of Miracle Theatre, Bill has been involved with the Poly for many years organising theatre workshops, film screenings and stage productions. He was a founder member of the Cornwall Film Festival and previously worked as a Board member of the Cornwall Media resource and the Celtic Film and Television Festival. He’d like to help provide the community with a vibrant and accessible arts centre.

Hendrik Wiekens
Currently Chairman of the RCPS Board of Trustees, Henk is also joint managing director of Pendennis Shipyard, an internationally renowned superyacht company based in Falmouth. A time-served engineer, Henk has managed his own yacht building companies in Holland and New Zealand before joining Pendennis in 1988.

Ross Williams
Ross is the Director of Cornwall Arts Centre (ACT) which manages Krowji Studios, Cornwall’s biggest creative sector cluster. He’s also responsible for the Carn to Cove rural touring scheme, the FEAST programme and Creative Skills. Ross has a strong connection to the local arts community, having programmed a lot of live events promoted by ACT at the Poly and he is involved with a number of arts and cultural organisations across Cornwall.
