An Evening of Song

Two local singing groups join forces in a fabulous evening of song.

 MEN OF GOOD FORTUNE with soprano soloist NAOMI CARNE

The Men of Good Fortune are a small male singing ensemble, based in Truro and originally formed from the chorus of Duchy Opera. Under the musical direction of Naomi Carne they have developed a varied repertoire, ranging from sacred music to classical, folk, popular song and spirituals.

THE SUITCASE SINGERS

The Suitcase Singers are a 30 strong acapella choir led by Musical Director, Claire Ingleheart(Wild Works Theatre).  A mixture of traditional and contemporary songs, come and hear the eclectic and vibrant sounds of Country, Folk, Gospel, pop and even a tad of Leonard Cohen!
